Wall-hung and countertop washbasins, which one is for you?

Are you thinking of changing your basin but you still don't know which one best suits your needs? Read on, we are going to tell you about the characteristics and some of the models of the most common basins: wall-hung or wall-mounted and countertop.

Wall hung or wall hung basins

As their name suggests, wall-hung basins are those that are installed directly on the wall using special brackets to hold them in place and leave the floor free. Among their characteristics, we highlight the following:

• They allow greater savings and adaptation of the available space.
• It is possible to choose the exact height at which you want to install them.
• Minimalist style as they are light and uncluttered, giving a modern look to the bathroom. 
• It will be the only protagonist as it is not accompanied by a piece of furniture.

If you have little space, you can opt for XS basins. With few changes, basic and combinable shapes, you will achieve a totally renovated look and personalised spaces.

Mini Basin

With a size of 42 x 22 x 12.5 cm it is a rectangular ceramicvitreous basin with a glossy white finish.

Petit Basin

Available in two sizes: 44 x 25.5 x 25.5 x 16 cm and 75 x 31.5 x 17.5 cm. Also ceramicvitreous, oval and with a gloss white finish. 

If, on the other hand, you have more space, you can opt for the Clever basin:

Clever Basin

It comes in two formats, Easy and Duo. You can find Easy with dimensions such as 70 x 46, 80 x 46, 100 x 46 or 120 x 46 cm and Duo with 140 x 45 cm.

It is made of sanydur gel coat mural and is rectangular. Its design and installation leaves the floor completely clear and free of furniture. Perfect for daily cleaning and accessibility. 

Countertop basins

This type of basin is accompanied by a bathroom vanity unit. They are installed directly on top of them. In this way, they allow you to store products and elements of daily use or those that you do not want to be visible to everyone. It is a useful option especially for families with small children.

Bol TP basin

It has been one of the winners of the IF Design Awards 2021 for its design. It has a dimension of Ø43 x 12,5h and in its design stands out the slight elevation of its basin, giving a floating effect. This characteristic increases its lightness and allows it to be installed in cantilever mode as an option, unlike other conventional bowl basins.

It offers maximum optimisation for bathrooms with countertop basins that require integrated taps.

Ture Basin

A basin that also won the IF Design Awards 2021 together with Bol TP. With a size of Ø42 x 13,5h and with a contrast in its design of two geometric shapes. A design with character and personality.

Thanks to its cubic base and cantilevered basin, it is a flexible, light, relatively large basin that fits into both spacious and smaller spaces.

Nadir basin

With Ø42 x 12.5h dimensions, Nadir stands out for its smooth transitions that integrate, in the body of the basin, the space to place the taps in a natural way, giving the overall volume a subtle lightness. A sanitaryware that conveys the essence and character of the Mediterranean.
