The project that we present below is an integral renovation of a house located in the Barcelona neighborhood of Sarrià.

The architect Vera S. Guasch, overcame the challenge of completely transforming the distribution of this house, in order to achieve much more spacious and bright spaces.

Initially the apartment was divided into a night area and a day area, connected by a dark corridor. By restructuring the spaces, the architect managed to turn a cold apartment into a cozy and bright space, where functionality is now the key word.

To alleviate the darkness of the existing kitchen, a structural beam was installed to open up the space to the dining room and day areas, as well as opening it up to the hallway and corridor.

The restructuring of the kitchen has allowed it to become the heart of the home. A space now spacious, bright and easily accessible from the other rooms of the house.

The change of furniture in the kitchen, in green tones and the selection of appliances, have also allowed to bring sophistication to the whole house.

Another key space in this charming home is its bathroom, where modernity and classicism have been combined, with the selection of modern materials and the use of classic colors and touches. The Marsala washbasin by Sanycces in matte white perfectly highlights the sky blue countertop, custom-made for this project. Both starring the bathroom, giving it a refined and fresh touch.

The house now has nothing to do with what it was thanks to the work of Vera S. Guasch, who knew how to see, from the first moment, its hidden possibilities.
