Renovation project in the center of Vitoria Gasteiz

We show you the result of the integral renovation of a house located in the center of Vitoria Gasteiz. It is an old second-hand house whose owners have decided to renovation in order to create common and open spaces. The brightness is undoubtedly one of the strengths of this house, whose renovation is a real success. Here we talk about this project carried out by Quefalamaria studio, in which comfort and design have come together to create spaces to enjoy.

In this renovation project the owners defined from the outset the spaces they needed to have. They dispensed with a bedroom to make way for the creation of a study that communicates with the living room through the installation of a glass enclosure. As true lovers of literature, the creation of this new space has been a great success for the owners, who can now enjoy what they most want to do in total comfort, such as reading.

At the same time, it was decided to join the kitchen to create a spacious, optimal and bright living space. The black colors present in all the kitchen furniture give a timeless, sophisticated and unique character to the whole house.

Chromatically, the powdered pink of the walls of the entrance and the kitchen contrasts with the white that dominates the rest of the house, making the furniture elements themselves, green sofa, mustard armchair, tile-colored headboard, which give color and life to the space.

Another strong point of this renovation are the bathrooms whose materials and colors have been carefully selected to create dream spaces. The first bathroom stands out for the green color of its walls, its herringbone-shaped floor and the use of black and gold faucets. The second bathroom follows the same line of sophistication and elegance with the choice of the Sanycces Trento freestanding bathtub, which is the star of the space. Its format and dimensions (150x75 cm) allow to enjoy the advantages and aesthetics of a freestanding bathtub in few square meters. On the other hand, its bright white color brings light to the room, contrasting with the half-height terrazzo cladding.

In short, the architectural firm Quefalamaria managed to transform this house into a real home in which to be at ease. An extremely important aspect when it comes to one of the places where we spend most of our time.
