A little bit of history
How does Jabones Beltrán begin?
In 1922 three brothers opened the first Jabones Beltrán factory in Xert, Castellón. Jabones Beltrán managed to increase demand and consolidate the company. In 1940 the company moved to Castellón, increasing its product offer at the same time.
During the 50s and 60s the appearance of the washing machine revolutionised the market and, in response to this new need, the company decided to adapt its traditional soaps for use in washing machines, which were more natural and healthy, instead of oil derivatives.
During the 90's we expanded our facilities to a new factory in Almazora, Castellón, where we are currently located. Since the last decade, we have been innovating and developing new products.
We are currently immersed in a process of research on the history of soap in Spain since the origins of the company.

With respect to ecology, we are committed to market differentiation based on products that respect our natural environment and generate the least possible impact.
In our daily work, we capture the experience of almost a century of activity in the sector, maintaining the artisan character of manufacturing our products. Although, always combining tradition and innovation to improve quality within the framework of eco-innovation.
With regard to quality, we work to constantly improve the safety and well-being of the environment affected by our activity.
Main products
What are the main products that Jabones Beltrán manufactures?
Jabones Beltrán focuses on three main production lines: cleaning, cosmetics and agriculture.
Among the cleaning products is the Beltrán brand, which contains the oldest formulas adapted for use in washing machines. The company's most important line of cleaning products is the Biobel brand. This line is composed of 100% natural ingredients.
At the same time, the cosmetic line has been growing with the development of traditional soap formulas in tablet form for all skin types and applications, under the Essabó Artesano brand.
Finally, the Castalia line is aimed at organic farming.

The Essabó Eco brand's Aromas and Colours of the World collection is a line of three soaps whose raw materials were selected taking into account the origin of organic farming, the native origin of each ingredient and its cosmetic value. These soaps were certified by Bio in the highest category as "Organic Cosmetic Products" with a minimum of 95% of ingredients from organic farming. This certification guarantees the traceability and sustainability of all ingredients used, as well as the respect for health and the environment of the product.
